"Cool Blues" will feature a day of live Delta Blues Music.
What: "Cool Blues for the Hatless" is a low key blues benefit for the Homeless in Rochester N.Y. (more people will become homeless this year, due to the recent downturn in the economy...) This is your chance to clean out your unused clothing, come down & see some music honed from hard times, with the promise of hope.
All clean clothes & canned goods accepted.

Beale Street Café is located at 693 South Ave. in Rochester N.Y. (bealestreetcafe.com) and is handicap accessable.

- The show will feature Workshops and Show at the Dining room stage:
- 2:30pm : History of the blues - Then & Now with Andy & Ernie Lawrence
- 3:00pm : Delta Slide & early blues guitar styles with Fred Vine & Gordon Munding
- 3:45pm : Harmonica secrets for the blues with Curtis Waterman
- 4:15pm : Blues on Upright & Electric bass with Ryan Griffith & Rico Christopher
- 5:00pm : Blues in other styles with Steve West
- 5:30 - 7pm : Putting it all together with the above performers.
You’ll be entertained by some of Rochester’s finest blues interpreters, willing to show you how to play blues, and how to jam using the simple rules, (applied to jazz & bluegrass styles as well).
Raffles will be drawn. Good times will be had by all!
Drop all clothing and canned food at stage near the bar, music in the Dining room.
